John 4:24 tells us that we’re told that we are to worship God “in spirit and in truth.”
Therefore, worship is essential for Christians to do. It’s also important for church services for the congregation to enter into worship, because it welcomes the Holy Spirit and allows God to work.
This is why the Worship Leader is very important to service. In this video from Allen Parr, he explains that it’s the Worship Leader’s job to invite, not command, people into worship.
